Chocolate Protein Baked Oats

Recipe #1

One of my favorites lately has been the baked oats. It’s perfect if i’m craving something sweet and need a filling meal to last me a couple hours while giving me energy. Here is what I use to make these delicious oats.

What you need:

- 1 banana

- About 1/2 a cup of oats

- 1/4 cup of your choice of milk, I like oat milk best!

- 1 pinch of baking soda

- 1 pinch of salt

- 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder (optional)

- 1 tablespoon of pb2 powder or peanut butter (optional)

- Chocolate chips (optional, I also enjoy cranberries!)

- 1 pinch of cinnamon

- 1 egg

- 1 oven safe bowl

- A blender

You will want to preheat your oven at 350° F. Then you will put all of your ingredients in a blender, you can either put the chocolate chips in the blender or wait to add them on top to melt in the oven. After you purée the ingredients for about one minute you will pour your mix into an oven safe bowl (this is where you can place the chocolate chips inside and on top of your oats, you can also make shapes to make it more fun for kids!) Now place your bowl in the oven once it is fully heated and leave it in there for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown! Let me know how you like this recipe!!
